My first memory of Natalie, was on the Mike Douglas Show, back in the 70’s
I remember she wore purple pants, and matching purple sweater. I thought she was the prettiest lady I’d ever seen. And I just loved her voice. I was around 10
years old or so – It was this show, when I realized Natalie was the little girl on my favorite movie Miracle on 34th street. I had such a fit I was so, so happy to find out what became of that little girl. I can not tell you how much I love and miss Natalie.
Love these thank you Katie so sweet the relationship your sisters and you have. What a legacy of love and fun, Natalie left ?
Wish we could have seen her as a grandmother she would have rocked as a ?
Look forward to more memories for you all?
I just love Natalie Wood, she is the most beautiful actress I had ever seen, I named my daughter after her daughter Courtney. I love the movie This Property is Condemned, Robert Redford and her are awesome together, and Penelope was a great one too. I love the beginning of Inside Daisy Clover because I want to live my life like she did in that movie, but a lot of her movies are sad at the end and that made me upset because I wanted her to be happy at the end of her movies. Her and Elvis Presley are my favorite and I know they went out together, wish they both could be with us today. Thank you for acknowledging your mom in such a beautiful and caring way, she is truly missed by me and millions of others. Love her, Theresa
My favorite movie is “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, 1947. Natalie played little Anna Muir in this film. Though it wasn’t a large part, Natalie shined as usual. She was totally so believable as Mrs. Muir’s little girl. Natalie had a way of really becoming the part. When you watch her in a film, you immediately think of her as that character. As she went from a child actress to an adult, her talent continued effortlessly. We can never forget her….
WOW!!

One of my favorite movies to this day is “Love with the Proper Stranger”, with Natalie and Steve McQueen. It was filled with so many emotions…love, anger comedy, sorrow…..a very touching and memorable movie even after all these years.
I adore this video series of you all sharing your personal stories about Natalie. I can just envision her yelling “Watch out for the ditch”!!! With that beautiful face and then no doubt laughing!! She had such an infectious laugh. I can honestly say that I have learned so much from her impeccable sense of fashion. She was a true fashion icon.❤
I always thought Natalie Wood was absolutely stunning.; she and Robert Wagner were such a great couple. Quite the talent, also. She did some really great movies and one of them is a favorite, “Splendor in the Grass”.
I grew up in the Midwest and in the 1970’s moved to Northern California. I later ended up in Santa Rosa, which is not only the town where Natalie filmed “Shadow of a Doubt” but she had lived here.
Sad the way she died and so young and vital.
